Forming in 2020, the Newton Gators are a strongly formed team built on friendship starting in the classroom. Most of these girls attend the local school together but for those who don’t they are treated just as equally by the girls and their bond is the foundation to their team spirit.
Along with the Newton Raptors, the Newton Gators have spent their first 2 seasons competing within the Hightown League. Within the 21/22 season these girls secured their first League win bringing home the winners trophy!
There is no doubt that moving into the 22/23 season these girls are going to bring the opposition their best games.
Joint with the Newton Raptors it should be noted that a member of their management team secured almost £2,500 worth of team sponsorships for the girls to bring them not only new season kids but training kits and rain jackets.
