Newton-le-Willows FC Reserves have been drawn at home to Twelfth Man FC in the round of 32 of the Liverpool County FA Men's Saturday Intermediate Cup.

Stephen Lyddon and Lewis Appleby's side will welcome the Liverpool-based outfit to Newton on Saturday 14 November, as they look to continue their progress in this season's competition.

Twelfth Man currently compete in the Liverpool Football League Conference and will provide fresh opposition for Newton, with the two sides meeting for the first time this season.

The Reserves secured their place in the round of 32 following an impressive 4-1 away victory over Sankey Vale in the previous round, continuing what has been an encouraging start to the campaign.

With Newton also enjoying a strong start to their Cheshire League Reserves Division Two campaign, the County Cup provides another opportunity for the squad to build on their early-season form and maintain their momentum.

The tie is scheduled for Saturday 14 November, with further match details to be confirmed in due course.
