The FA and McDonald’s Grassroots Football Awards are for people who make a positive difference. It is their way to celebrate the fantastic individuals who put their heart and soul into the grassroots game across England – and say a huge thank you to the incredible volunteers who inspire us all.

The Board of Trustees are delighted to announce that we have won the Project of the Year award for the 2020/2021 season by Liverpool County FA.

The panel noted that they selected NLWFC because "The project delivered by the club has seen a huge increase in the number of girls and boys playing football in the community. The club’s commitment in providing opportunities for children to begin playing the game and also providing their parents and visitors with a venue to mix."
