Newton-le-Willows FC is delighted to announce the signing of Nathan Wright ahead of the upcoming season.
The 25-year-old winger becomes the first new addition to the squad since Ben Crowe and Anthony Plant were appointed Joint Player-Managers.
Capable of playing on the wing or in attacking midfield, Nathan joins Newton after spending last season with White Cross.
The move represents a return to familiar surroundings for the local lad, who previously played for Newton between the ages of seven and 11.
Nathan went on to develop within the academies at Burnley and Oldham Athletic before completing his scholarship with Salford City. He also spent two-and-a-half years in the United States, where he combined his studies with playing college football.
Nathan's arrival adds further attacking quality to the squad as preparations continue for the club's first season in Cheshire League One.
Joint Player-Manager Ben Crowe said: "Nathan is an exciting player, and we're delighted to have added him to the squad ahead of the upcoming season."
Everyone at Newton-le-Willows FC would like to welcome Nathan back to the club and wish him every success in a Newton shirt.
